# **SAIX Saudi Arabia Route Servers** SAIX operates two Route-Servers and It is advised to peer with both. ## **Route Server Address Information** **RIX-RS1** - 45.94.12.5 - 2001:1497::5 **RIX-RS2** - 45.94.12.6 - 2001:1497::6 ## **Route Server Control** ### **BGP Operational Communities:** You have to use BGP Community to control route advertisement for dynamic filtering via the Route-Servers: **SAIX support either BGP Standard-Community or Large-Community or combination of them** - **Standard or Large Community (20759:20759) or (20759:1:0):** Route-Servers redistribute your prefixes to all (other) peers - **Standard or Large Community (0:20759) or (20759:0:0):** Route-Servers wouldn’t redistribute your prefixes to any peer - **Standard or Large Community (20759:20759) (0:PEER-AS1) (0:PEER-AS2) or (20759:1:0) (20759:0:PEER-AS1) (20759:0:PEER-AS2):** Route-Servers redistribute your prefixes to all (other) peers except PEER-AS1&PEER-AS2 - **Standard or Large Community (0:20759) (20759:PEER-AS1) (20759:PEER-AS2) or (20759:0:0) (20759:1:PEER-AS1) (20759:1:PEER-AS2):** Route-Servers redistribute your prefixes only to PEER-AS1&PEER-AS2 - **Standard and Large Community (20759:20759) (0:PEER-AS1) (20759:0:PEER-AS2):** Route-Servers redistribute your prefixes to all (other) peers except PEER-AS1&PEER-AS2 **For more information, please see:** [Documents & Processes](https://www.saix.sa/members/documents-and-processes)
